Een positieve ontwikkeling:

Traditioneel werd koffie geoogst en verkocht met weinig aandacht voor partijidentificatie en traceerbaarheid. Cijfers waren bepaald door een combinatie van zeefgrootte en defectaantallen, in plaats van door specifieke smaakprofielen.
Dit begint echter te veranderen naarmate speciale koffie in de regio evolueert.
Men kijkt tegenwoordig eerst naar de kwaliteit in plaats van de kwantiteit.

A positive development:

Traditionally, it has been harvested and sold with little regard for batch identification and traceability.
Figures were determined by a combination of sieve size and defect numbers, rather than specific flavor profiles. However, this is starting to change as specialty coffees in the region evolve.
Quality rather than quantity is considered first.
